You can register for the rally online or by printing off the form on the registration page and returning by email or post. You can find the paper and electronic form already online if you wish to download and fill it out.
Please also read through the terms and conditions available here. Registration can be only completed, when all documents are returned and signed.
There is no fixed time for The Avon Run, as it will depend on local knowledge, as well as traffic and weather conditions. However, we suggest that the drive itself will take no longer than 3 hours.
The registration fee is £15, which includes one passenger, all further passengers are £5 each. Remember that all profits from the event go to charity.
The Avon Run is all about fun, friendly competition while raising money for fantastic causes. The Avon Run is not a race, but rather an opportunity to use and expand your local knowledge, all while enjoying the company of family, friends and colleagues.
We recommend that you bring the following items with you, you may not need it all, and you may need more, but here’s a list to get you going:
- Something to drink
- Pen and paper
- Driver license
- Enough fuel
- Your toolkit
The first date of the Rally is Sunday 15th of April. More dates may follow if demand exceeds capacity.
The Avon Run will take place in Evesham, Worcestershire and it’s surrounding villages.
The Avon Run will donate it’s profits to The Worcestershire Festival 2022 – more information about whom can be found on our cause page.
Everyone with a valid driver license (+17) and a road legal car can register as a driver. For team members, there is no minimum or maximum age. We recommend to not to be accompanied by children under the age of 6, in order to avoid the inevitable “are we there yets”. We have one rule for teams, that teams must consist of 2 or more people. However, if you are on your own and would still like to enter, we can partner you with someone in a similar situation, or with a friendly pre-exisiting team who have a space.
The Avon Run is organised by Blox.Events. a local Event Consultancy and Management Agency. As event operator the Blox Team understands how important it is to involve society, local communities and groups in events. In order to promote local events and charities, all profits from this event will go to the 2022 charitable foundation.
Aside from the welcome pack prizes will be awarded on the day to 1st 2nd and indeed 3rd place entrants. As well as points for most correct answers, best time and shortest distance travelled, bonus points will be awarded for best car and best dressed team.
We recommend that you bring water with you to sustain you on your mission, drinks and food will be available to purchase at the start and finish points, however. More details will be provided of menus and available with your welcome pack.
